  1. I recognized that computer instantly when I saw it; it’s a $2,100 HP Victus 16t-d000 gaming laptop computer. I know, because I have one. The OS and applications shown on the series is complete bullcrap, though. That computer was one of the first computers in the world shipped with the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system out-of-the-box. That laptop has/had more processing power than most high-end full form factor desktops on the market at that time, and unlike most laptops, was engineered to perform with extremely demanding graphic processing applications flawlessly.
But, it’s my backup computer. My main computer is a desktop with far more “testosterone.” When it goes into the shop for upgrades, I have my trusty Victus to use in the interim. However, that laptop is so high-powered and well-engineered that it would make a GREAT primary computer for any serious computing and gaming enthusiast; it can run ANY game on the market with flawless performance, no lag, no stutter, sharpest graphics.
But…that wouldn’t be a hacker’s choice, certainly not with THAT operating system. Hackers use Unix or Unix-based Linux distros. Security is iron-clad on those platforms, not the VERY vulnerable Windows platforms. In fact, most cyber terrorists, jerkwads that write and distribute computer viruses, write and launch them from Linux systems with the specific and effective intent to target Microsoft and Apple operating systems. It’s almost impossible to infect a Linux system unless the administrator is a comple congentital idiot…which happens a LOT more than you might think.
So, a serious hacker might well use this computer hardware, but he or she would NOT use Windows or OS-X to do it; Unix and Linux is FAR more secure.
