The original series began on September 22, 1994 and went off the air on May 6th, 2004. Friends is set in Manhattan and focused around six main characters; Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt Leblanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) who are all friends since late high school or college. And Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).
