Walter White is a struggling high school chemistry teacher celebrating his 50th birthday when he is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. When conventional treatments fail, Walter starts to secretly cook methamphetamine together with former student Jesse Pinkman. This results in Walter being kicked out of his family and ultimately leads him to abandon principle along with his friends, family and students.
