Hi! On Wednesday, October 5, I watched a Movie and product placement was spotted: Sony Cassette Player in Hocus Pocus (1993).
It's hard to deny the appeal of Sony cassette players. For many of us, they were our first introduction to music. They sounded really good.
Unfortunately, cassette players are no longer manufactured by Sony or anyone else. But that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy your old cassettes on a Sony player. If you're lucky enough to have one of these classic devices, here are some tips on how to keep it sounding its best.
First, avoid storing your cassette player in direct sunlight or extreme heat. This can damage the sensitive electronics inside the player. Second, be careful not to drop it or subject it to too much vibration. Third, regularly clean the heads with a soft cloth or cotton swab dipped in alcohol. And finally, don't forget to rewind your cassettes when you're finished listening ;)
