Hi! On Thursday, February 10, I watched a Movie and product placement was spotted: Purell Hand Sanitizer of Zoë Kravitz as Angela Childs in Kimi (2022).
Each time she used the Purell, she made a repetitive gesture to dry her hands. I get the feeling that this may have been an ASL sign but I’m not sure what because my sign skills are rusty. I believe it likely had more meaning than pure neuroticism though.
I wonder if the use of Purell is meant to indicate she’s been in “pure hell?”
