I loved Target and A Million Little Pieces but have lost all respect for the show now due to the blatant product placement. It now feels just like watching a big prime time commercial rather than a tv show. They need to change the name of the show to “A Million Big Target Bags”. Epic fail and Jump the Shark moment noted.
Marketing within the show should not take away from the show! From the tackiness of the oversized bags to the awkward attempts to make “taking things out of the bag” look normal, this is an epic fail. It left me feeling irritated that it diminished the television show I watch for entertainment. Utilize advertising, but be reasonable. This is just tacky, at best.
