I love it! An actual cell phone from the ill-fated NovaTel Corporation of Calgary, Alberta! It was a government-backed tech company that once was that the height of the industry back in the late 1980’s but it was never financially successful and lost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars before being sold to Nortel for pennies on the dollar. Nortel also went onto a collapse in mid 2000’s which had its assets largely purchased by the also ill-fated RIM/Blackberry corporation which again for a brief period was a global tech darling…
