Breaking Bad is a tale of a man who has learned how to make good or bad choices, be it through ambition, advice from friends, or just simply wiser judgment. Observed by the audience through the main character Jesse Pinkman’s eyes, Breaking Bad begins as he originally starts selling methamphetamine with his partner in crime Walter White in order to earn money for his family in New Mexico following his teacher salary not allowing him to support his wife and son. Breaking Bad focuses on Walter White’s journey with becoming a drug lord and Jesse Pinkman’s progression from a student under Walter’s influence to a major player involved in the business.
