Breaking Bad is an American drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, following the travails of Walter White as he is transformed from a meek high school science teacher who wants to provide for his family after learning he has terminal lung cancer into a powerful player in the local methamphetamine drug trade. On Walter’s side are his wife, Skylar, a former employee at a car wash; his brother-in-law Hank Schrader, an overzealous DEA agent; and Saul Goodman, an attorney who knows the ropes of the illegal drug world.
